Ein Expertengremium der US-Arzneimittelbehörde FDA hat mit überwältigender Mehrheit einen Antrag auf Zulassung der Corona-Auffrischungsimpfung von Pfizer abgelehnt und dabei Zweifel an der Sicherheit geäußert. Während seines Vortrags gegenüber dem Gremium erklärte der führende Corona-Forscher Steve Kirsch, dass „der Impfstoff von Pfizer mehr Menschen tötet, als er rettet“. Eine Sprecherin der FDA widersprach dieser These.

Ein Expertengremium der US-Arzneimittelbehörde FDA hat nach einer mehr als achtstündigen Sitzung mit 16 zu 2 Stimmen einen umfassenderen Antrag auf Genehmigung von Auffrischungsdosen des Pfizer-Impfstoffs für alle Personen ab 16 Jahren sechs Monate nach einer vollständigen Durchimpfung abgelehnt.
Die Regierung von US-Präsident Joe Biden hatte im August angekündigt, die Auffrischungsimpfungen ab dem 20. September zur Verfügung stellen zu wollen. Diese Ankündigung war umstritten, weil sie erfolgte, bevor die FDA den Antrag von Pfizer geprüft hatte und das Expertengremium der US-Zentren für Krankheitskontrolle und -prävention (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) die Notwendigkeit von Auffrischungsimpfungen prüfen konnte.
Steve Kirsch, geschäftsführender Direktor des COVID-19 Early Treatment Fund (Fonds für die frühzeitige Behandlung von COVID-19), erklärte während seiner Präsentation vor dem Gremium, die COVID-19-Impfstoffe würden tatsächlich mehr Menschen töten als retten. Kirsch betonte:
„Ich werde mich heute auf den Elefanten im Raum konzentrieren, über den niemand gerne spricht: dass die Impfstoffe mehr Menschen töten, als sie retten. Uns wurde vorgegaukelt, dass die Impfstoffe vollkommen sicher seien, aber das stimmt einfach nicht. Im sechsmonatigen Bericht von Pfizer sind zum Beispiel viermal so viele Herzinfarkte in der Behandlungsgruppe aufgetreten, das war nicht nur einfach ein Missgeschick. Das VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System – Meldesystem für unerwünschte Ereignisse bei Impfungen) zeigt, dass Herzinfarkte nach diesen Impfstoffen 71-mal häufiger auftreten als bei anderen Impfstoffen.“

„Selbst wenn die Impfstoffe einen 100-prozentigen Schutz bieten, bedeutet das immer noch, dass wir zwei Menschen töten, um ein Leben zu retten.“
„Vier Experten haben Analysen durchgeführt, die auf völlig unterschiedlichen, nicht US-amerikanischen Datenquellen beruhen, und alle kamen in etwa auf die gleiche Zahl von Todesfällen im Zusammenhang mit Impfungen, nämlich 411 Todesfälle pro eine Million Dosen. Das bedeutet, dass 115.000 Menschen (aufgrund der COVID-19-Impfstoffe) gestorben sind“, so Kirsch weiter.
Kirsch wies dann auf die seiner Meinung nach sehr besorgniserregenden Daten hin, die aus Israel stammen. Der Forscher führte aus:
„Die realen Zahlen bestätigen, dass wir mehr Menschen töten, als wir retten. Und ich würde mir gerne die Daten des israelischen Gesundheitsministeriums zu den über 90-Jährigen ansehen, wo wir in den letzten vier Monaten von einer Impfquote von 94,4 Prozent auf 82,9 Prozent gesunken sind. Im optimistischsten Fall bedeutet dies, dass 50 Prozent der Geimpften und 0 Prozent der Ungeimpften gestorben sind. Solange man das der Öffentlichkeit nicht erklären kann, kann man die Auffrischungsimpfungen nicht genehmigen.“

Gegenüber der Nachrichtenagentur AFP erklärte eine Vertreterin der FDA, dass Regierungsdaten die Behauptungen von Kirsch nicht stützen würden. „Die Aussagen von Herrn Kirsch während der öffentlichen Anhörung basierten nicht auf wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen und widersprechen der Mission der FDA im Bereich der öffentlichen Gesundheit“, sagte Abigail Capobianco, eine Pressesprecherin der FDA.
Kirsch war zuvor schon einmal für seine Behauptung kritisiert worden, dass mRNA-Impfstoffe Spike-Protein verwenden, das „sehr gefährlich“ sei und als „zytotoxisch“ bezeichnet wurde. Sogenannte Faktenchecker von Reuters gaben an, diese Behauptungen hier widerlegt zu haben.
Obwohl die FDA nicht verpflichtet ist, den Empfehlungen des Gremiums zu folgen, tut sie dies in der Regel, sodass die Behörde ihre Zulassung des Impfstoffs von Pfizer wahrscheinlich auf Auffrischungsimpfungen für diejenigen ausweiten wird, die am anfälligsten für das Virus sind. Die Genehmigung der FDA würde nur für Pfizer gelten. Die von Moderna und Johnson & Johnson hergestellten Impfstoffe müssen gesondert geprüft werden.
