Es ist eine Zahl, die man zunächst kaum glauben will. Elf Menschen sind nach einer vollständigen Impfung mit dem Wirkstoff von Biontech allein in der Bundeshauptstadt Berlin an oder mit COVID-19 verstorben. Weitere 45 erkrankten nach einer vollständigen Impfung mit dem mRNA-Wirkstoff so schwer an oder mit COVID-19, dass sie ins Krankenhaus eingeliefert werden mussten (Datenstand 26.5.2021). Nach Impfungen mit den Vakzinen von Astrazeneca, Moderna oder anderen ist kein einziger Patient in Berlin an oder mit COVID-19 verstorben. Und nur drei Infizierte mussten hospitalisiert werden, die mit „anderen Impfstoffen“ geimpft wurden – kein einziger davon hatte Astrazeneca oder Moderna verabreicht bekommen. All das geht aus einer Antwort des Senats auf eine Anfrage des Abgeordneten Marcel Luthe (Freie Wähler) hervor:

Da es sich um absolute Zahlen handelt und die Vergleichszahlen fehlen, ist die Aussagekraft dieser Daten vom Senat natürlich begrenzt. Dennoch sticht ins Auge, dass die Werte für die Biontech-Impfungen sich hier sehr negativ von denen mit anderen Impfstoffen unterscheiden. Auch wenn Biontech viel öfter verimpft worden sein sollte als etwa Astrazeneca, ist das Größenverhältnis des Unterschieds immer noch merkwürdig. Insgesamt sind in Berlin seit Beginn der Corona-Krise 3.505 Menschen an oder mit dem Virus gestorben, laut den aktuellsten Daten des RBB. Interessant dabei auch die Veränderung gegenüber dem Vortag, die mit minus eins angegeben wird. Erwies sich ein als infiziert gemeldeter Tote doch nicht als infiziert, oder ist es schlicht ein Übermittlungsfehler?
Bereits im Mai hatte das Gesundheitsministerium auf meine Anfrage hin mitgeteilt, dass in Deutschland 2.707 Menschen nach einer Corona-Impfung an oder mit COVID-19 gestorben sind. 6.221 Geimpfte mussten wegen COVID-19 in ein Krankenhaus eingewiesen werden. Insgesamt wurden 57.146 nach einer Impfung positiv auf SARS-CoV-2 getestet, 33.269 von diesen erkrankten an COVID19 (Details siehe hier). Bei diesen Zahlen war aber nicht bekannt, wie viele der Betroffenen bereits einen vollen Impfschutz hatten. Daher machten Befürworter der Impfung geltend, die Zahlen seien nicht aussagekräftig, da hier eben Menschen mitgezählt wurden, die erst einmal geimpft oder früher als zwei Wochen nach der zweiten Impfung erkrankten. Die Berliner Zahlen dagegen beziehen sich ausschließlich auf Menschen, die bereits mindestens zwei Wochen die Zweitimpfung hatten und damit nach offizieller Lesart vollen Impfschutz. Insofern haben die neuen Zahlen eine neue Qualität. Rechnet man sie auf Deutschland hoch, könnte die Zahl der COVID-19-Todesfälle nach vollständiger Biontech-Impfung bei rund 250 liegen. Das ist insbesondere deshalb brisant, weil Kritiker seit langem sagen, Biontech komme nicht auf die Wirksamkeit, die offiziell angegeben wird.
Der Angeordnete Luthe kommentiert die Zahlen aus dem Senat wie folgt: „Es ist einmal mehr erstaunlich, wie wenig sich die SPD-geführte Gesundheitsverwaltung für die Gesundheit der Bürger interessiert: Bekanntlich berücksichtigen die erratischen Verordnungen nicht die erheblichen negativen gesundheitlichen Folgen verschobener und ausgefallener Behandlungen, sozialer Isolation oder durch das Schüren von Angst erzeugter Verzweiflung. Nun ganz nebenbei zu erfahren, dass offensichtlich die Biontech-Impfungen statistisch absolut signifikant oft Corona-Infektionen nebst Krankenhausaufenthalten und gar Todesfälle nach sich ziehen, ist einfach unfassbar. Statt hier proaktiv aufzuklären, bleibt der Senat Michael Müllers untätig. Mit ihrer desolaten Kommunikationspolitik und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit hat die Gesundheitsverwaltung massivst Vertrauen in staatliches Handeln zerstört.“
