Zahlen aus Dänemark legen nahe, dass Geimpfte im Hinblick auf eine Infektion mit Omikron schlechter geschützt sind als Ungeimpfte. Nun hat der „subjektive Student“ in einem neuen Video auf Youtube die Zahlen aus Deutschland unter die Lupe genommen, über die ich hier auch schon geschrieben habe. 95 Prozent der Omikron-Fälle mit bekanntem Impfstatus betrafen Menschen mit vollständiger Impfung. Besonders pikant: Omikron zeichnet sich durch eine enorme Zahl von Veränderungen am Spike-Protein aus – und genau am Spike-Protein setzen die Impfungen an.
Die Graphik aus dem Video, die das Titelbild dieses Beitrags ist, macht nachdenklich. Die Daten, auf denen es beruht, stammen vom Robert Koch-Institut. Obwohl die Ungeimpften 26,73 Prozent der Bevölkerung ausmachen, machen sie nur 4,42 Prozent der Omikron-Infizierten aus. Der „subjektive Student“ verweist zwar darauf, dass die Datenbasis, aus der diese Schlüsse gezogen werden, mit 4.206 Fällen noch mit großer Vorsicht zu genießen ist. Insbesondere, weil ich sehr vielen Fällen der Omikron-Variante der Impfstatus unbekannt ist. Eine Tendenz lasse sich aber trotzdem aus den Daten ablesen, so der „subjektive Student“.
Interessant ist es auch, die Impfquote der einzelnen Bundesländer mit der Omikron-Inzidenz zu vergleichen, wie es in dem Video hier geschieht: 
Der Punkt unten links steht für Sachsen mit einer sehr niedrigen Impfquote, der oben rechts für Bremen mit einer sehr hohen Impfquote. Die Graphik zeigt, dass in den Bundesländern mit den höheren Impfquoten auch eine höhere Omikron-Inzidenz herrscht. Auch hier ist auf die geringe Datenbasis zu verweisen, die weitreichende Schlüsse noch verbietet. Es geht hier auch nur um die Ansteckung mit Omikron, nicht um die Schwere der Verläufe.
Sollte sich diese Tendenz bestätigen, dass doppelt Geimpfte sich öfter mit Omikron infizieren, und Omikron tatsächlich die vorherrschende Virus-Variante bei uns werden sollte, wären alle 2G-Regeln geradezu ein Hohn und müssten schnellstens außer Kraft gesetzt werden – was Kritiker der Corona-Politik wie der frühere Gesundheitsamtschef Friedrich Pürner auch jetzt schon fordern.
Allerdings gibt es auch Kritik an der Auswertung der Statistik durch den „subjektiven Studenten“. „Leider macht diese Statistikauslegung wieder den gleichen Fehler wie so viele andere: nur zwei Parameter miteinander vergleichen, obwohl es noch weitere wichtige gibt“, schreibt ein Leser: „So wird beispielsweise die Gruppe der Ungeimpften zu einem Großteil aus Kindern und Jugendlichen bestehen, bei denen das Immunsystem schon den ersten eingedrungenen Virus plattmacht, bevor der nächste Schultest ansteht. Gleichzeitig besteht die Gruppe der zweifach Geimpften aus der mittleren Altersgruppe, die voll im (Berufs-)Leben steht und daher die meisten Kontakte hat. Die Geboosterten wiederum sind die ganz Alten, die sowieso nur noch vor dem Fernseher sitzen und sich kaum raus trauen. Außer dass der Impfstoff nicht gegen eine Infektion schützt, sagt dieses Diagramm daher leider kaum was aus. Und das wird ja inzwischen kaum noch bestritten.“ Dass dies „inzwischen kaum noch bestritten wird“, sollte man vielleicht einmal Karl Lauterbach sagen; würde es wirklich nicht mehr bestritten, müsste 2G fallen. Die Kritik an der Auswertung der Statistik möchte ich nicht kommentieren, da ich weder Statistiker noch Mediziner bin. Ich will sie Ihnen aber auch nicht vorenthalten.
Interessant sind auch Nachrichten aus Dänemark und Großbritannien, die in Deutschland eher auf Sparflamme verbreitet werden: Es gibt bei Omikron eine deutlich geringere Hospitalisierungsquote. Warum solche guten Nachrichten wohl so wenig Aufmerksamkeit finden bei uns?
